Evan

Evan

Born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1974, and is a writer, producer, teacher and director. His interest in philosophy began as early as middle-school (and probably earlier), when he was asked to read books such as Plato’s Republic andLord of the Flies, and he quickly began to examine his own philosophical values and ideals. Evan graduated from the University of Delaware in 1997, with a bachelor’s degree in English and a concentration in journalism. Later, he got a Master’s degree in English education from Wilmington University.

In 2010 he married and had a son, but amazingly he also wrote, produced and directed his first five short films: The Interview, Buzzkill, The Test, The Wedding Gift and Killer. Another short, Scarecrow’s Last Dance, was shot in the U.S. by Michael Mitchell of Lightfilms in 2011.

Evan won Instructor of the Year from the Torre Sabana Berlitz, for his English teaching in 2011, and in 2015 completed the first novel in a trilogy: Roomkillers… watch this space!
